Why should we use images in the classroom?

Because the images stimulus the brain, they can be free to the interpretation of the students, so they become a useful tool for the reflection , moreover, the students feel more closer to the images than words, maybe this is a reaction of living in an audiovisual society where the main channels of information are audiovisual, so we as teacher do not need to fight against it, we need to know how to adapt these typesof materials that may help in our classroom to develop from basic skills like to describe to more complex like analyze or create.
